Answer:

Explanation:

Let w = x

Area of rectangle is LxW

length is 2 meters longer than the width

w = x

l = x + 2

Area = x(x+2)

x(x+2) = 32

x^2 + 2x -32 = 0

Using quadratic formula

x1 = -6.7

x2 = 4.7

There is no negative in area, so the value of x is 4.7m

Width is 4.7m

Length is 6.7m
