Explanation:

Sum of interior angles of a triangle is 180.

∠LEG = 2x

∠HFG = 4x

∠LEG and ∠FEG are supplementary

∠EFG and ∠HFG are supplementary

Therefore:

x + (180 - 2x) + (180 - 4x) = 180 Solve for x

-5x + 360 = 180

-5x = -180

x = -180/-5 = 36

2x = 72

4x = 144

Or, you can also solve it by knowing the sum of the exterior angles of a triangle is 360.
