Explanation:

The graph opens upwards because the coefficient before the
x^(2) is one. Since one is a positive number the graph opens upwards.

The means that graphs one and three cannot be the answer.

The vertex or minimum point is (5/2,-14)

-b/2a is the x value

-(-5)/2 = 5/2. We find the y value by substituting in 5/2 for x


(5/2)^(2) -5(5/2) + 6

25/4 - 25/2 + 6

25/4 - 50/4 + 24/4 = -1/4

The vertex is (5/2, -1/4

The y-intercept is (0,c) or (0,6).

The x intercepts are

(x -2) (x - 3) = 0

x - 2 = 0

x = 2

x - 3 = 0

x = 3
