we know the adjacent angle, it measures 60°, we know the hypotenuse BC

cos60=AB/BC

cos60=AB/12

AB=12*cos(60)=6 inches

CA:

we know the adjacent angle, it measures 30°, we know the hypotenuse BC

cos30=AC/BC

cos30=AC/12

AC = 12*cos(30)=6V3 about 10.4
