Answer:

Red - Red, Yellow, Magenta flowers can be detected because

x = 3 three flowers can be detected - red, magenta, and yellow contain the color red

y = 3 three flowers can be detected - red, yellow, magenta contain red

z = 1 only yellow contains the green color
