So, areaof the square s1==r^

Area of a shaded quarter circle:s2=1/4(πr^2)

Percentage pf the square is shaded is the ratio of the areas of the figures

Mean:s2/s1=(1/4πr^2)/r^2

 =π/4(approx.78.54%)
