Answer:

A rectangle lot has an area of 36m^(2) →9*4=36m²

if equal length is to be added to have an area or 150m^(2),

we add a length x to have an area of 150m²

area = 4(9+x) = 150

36+4x=150

4x=150-36

x= 28.5

for an area of 150 m², a length of 28. should be added to the original rectangular lot.
