the formula for the area of such an object is

area = (a + b)/2 × h

a, b are the 2 parallel "baselines" (top and bottom).

h is the perpendicular height

so, we have

120 = (24 + 16)/2 × h = 40/2 × h = 20 × h

h = 120/20 = 6 cm
