Tickets to a show are priced as follows: Adult tickets: £15

Child tickets: £10
Steven rings the booking office to buy 4 adult tickets and 2 child tickets.
He is told that a 10% booking fee will be added to the ticket price. 1.5% will then be added if he is pays by credit card.

Work out the total charge that Steven will pay if he uses his credit card to buy the tickets.​

Adult ticket: £15 each

Child ticket: £10 each

Find the total amount for the tickets only

Price = 4(£15) + 2(£10)

= £60 + £20

= £80

Total price including fees

Total price = £80 + [£80(10%+1.5%)]

Total price = £80 + £80(11.5%/100%)

Total price = £80 + £80(0.115)

Total price = £80 + £9.2

Total price = £89.20
