Two-Step Equations
Just as the name suggests, two-step equations are equations that are solved in two steps. The point of an equation is isolating the variable.
So we do just that. First, I add 11 on each side:
w/3 -11 = -4
w/3 = -4 + 11
w/3 = 7
Multiply each side by 3:
w = 21
Hence, w = 21.
