As supplementary angles, their sum is equal to
180^(\circ).

Therefore

(x-6)^(\circ)+124^(\circ)=180^(\circ)\\(x-6)^(\circ)=56^(\circ)\\x-6=56\\x=62

Answer:

x = 62

Explanation:

(x - 6)° and 124° lie on a straight line and sum to 180° , that is

x - 6 + 124 = 180

x + 118 = 180 ( subtract 118 from both sides )

x = 62
