Answer:

Here are the differences between instrinsic and extrinsic semiconductors:

- Instrinsic semiconductor is pure semiconductor with no impurities or dopants but extrinsic semiconductor is impure semiconductor with impurities or dopants added.

- Instrinsic semiconductor has a low electrical conductivity but extrinsic semiconductor has a high electrical conductivity.

- The number of electrons and holes are equal in instrinsic semiconductors at room temperature but they are not equal in extrinsic semiconductors at room temmperature.

- The conductivity of instrinsic semiconductor is dependent on temperature only but the conductivity of extrinsic semiconductor depends upon temperature and the amount of impurity added.
