Option D: a = 6

3/a -4/(a+2) = 0

3/a = 4/(a+2)

Multiply "a" on each side:

3 = 4a/(a+2)

Multiply "(a+2)" on each side:

3a+6 = 4a

Simplify by subtracting "3a" on both sides:

6 = 1a

6=a

Option D

Hope this helps!
