volume of a cone = 1/3 * π * r² * h

where π = 3.14

r = 11/4

h = 4

by substituting the values in the formula,

volume = 1/3 * 3.14 * (2.75)² * 4

= 1/3 * 94.95

= 31.65

by rounding of to the nearest tenth volume of each drinking cup

= 31.7 inches³
