Lesser x = -9
Greater x = -7
This is because (x+8)^2 is x^2+16x+64.
Minus 1 from the original equation gives us x^2+16x+63.
Using the quadratic equation: we get that x = -9,-7.
-9 is the lesser x and -7 is the greater x
