Jeremy has 36 cards that are square in shape. The angles of each

card are marked with the numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 in some order. Jeremy randomly piled all 36 cards into a deck. Then Jeremy calculated the sum of the numbers in one corner of the deck, then he calculated the sum of the numbers in the second corner, the sum in the third corner, and the sum in the fourth corner. Jeremy noticed that each of the four sums is the same value n. What is the value of n?

  • Answer: Value of: n = 90

The VALUE of (N) is: 90

  • Explanation:
  • MAKE A PLAN:

(1) - Calculate the sum of the numbers on each card and find the total sum of all cards.

Now, Divide the Total Sum by Four (4) to find the value of (N):

  • SOLVE THE PROBLEM:
  • (1) - Calculate the sum of the numbers on each card:

1 + 2 + 3 + 4 = 10

  • (2) - Calculate the total sum of all cards:

36 * 10 = 360

  • (3) - Divide the total sum by Four (4) to find the value of (N):

360 / 4 = 90

  • Draw the conclusion:

The VALUE of (N) is: 90

I hope this helps you!
