Answer: g(f(5)) = 79

Explanation:

Given information

f(x) = x² + 3x

g(x) = 2x - 1

Substitute 5 for x in f(x)

f(x) = x² + 3x

f(5) = (5)² + 3(5)

f(5) = 25 + 15

f(5) = 40

Substitute 40 for f(5) in g(x)

g(x) = 2x - 1

g(f(5)) = 2(f(5)) - 1

g(f(5)) = 2 (40) - 1

g(f(5)) =
\huge\boxed{79}

Hope this helps!! :)
