1. What does it mean for two angles to be supplementary? What does it mean for two angles to be complementary? Draw an example of a pair of supplementary angles and a pair of complementary angles.

Answer:

Two angles are supplementary if the sum of their measures is 180°. For example, two angles whose measures are 35° and 145° are supplementary angles.

Two angles are complementary if the sum of their measures is 90°. For example, two angles whose measures are 35° and 55° are complementary angles.
