Enlargemet is a rule which transfers an object into an object of the same form by enlarging its size in a given ration.

Remember

If k > 1 , the given object is enlarged. Since the scale fator (k) is 2 and it is greater than 1 the size of the figure enlarges . So according to this definition option B , c and d are incorrect.

only option A satisfies . So out of all these statements only option A is true.

formula :

(x , y) = (kx , ky) ( k means scale factor)

here scale factor is multiplied to the coordinate x and y.

since the scale factor is 2 it means that the length or the value of both x and y coordinate is multiplied by 2.So, it is true . And rest are not true.
