They are there for anyone who needs help on assignments when the teacher is out or the teacher says “ask a classmate”. The best student of the year should be helpful to everyone around when they can and should be able to quickly and efficiently do their work. The teacher(s) can always rely on the student when answering questions and watching over the class whenever need be. The student should be able to get good-highest grade(s) in the class(es). Someone who is always on top of the class, (getting work done early, asking for extra credit assignments, keeping all A’s, helping others when questions arrive) would be the best fit.
