Dear Diary,
Today was a wonderful day as I visited my grandparents who live in a remote village with my sister. We woke up early in the morning and started packing our bags as we were excited to get on the road. We reached the bus station and caught a bus to the village. The journey was bumpy, and the roads were winding, but it was a scenic route as we saw the lush green fields, tall trees, and the river alongside the road.
After two hours of travel, we finally arrived at the village. As we walked towards our grandparents' house, we saw cows grazing and kids playing around. We reached their place and saw them sitting outside, waiting for us. We hugged them, and they welcomed us with warm smiles. We quickly unpacked and sat down to have lunch with them. My grandmother had cooked our favorite food. We ate to our heart's desire and were happy to be there.
After lunch, we went for a walk around the village, and my sister and I were fascinated to see the village culture, the traditional houses, and the people's way of living. We saw fields full of crops, farmers with their cattle, and women working in the fields. We enjoyed the fresh air and peaceful surroundings.
In the evening, my grandmother made some tea and snacks for us. We sat in the verandah, sipping tea, and listening to stories about our grandparents' childhood. It was an unforgettable experience to hear their stories and learn about their lives.
As the daylight faded, we had dinner and then spent time talking to our grandparents. We shared our school stories with them, and they were happy to hear about our lives in the city. We made plans to go on a picnic the next day and went to bed early, tired but happy.
Overall it was an amazing day spent with my loved ones, in a serene and peaceful environment, away from the hustle of city life. I feel grateful to have had this experience and look forward to more such visits.
