Joanna plans to completely cover a large soup can,

including the top and bottom, with black paper. The
diameter of the can is 6 in. and the height is 5 in. Which is a
reasonable estimate for the number of square inches of
paper that Joanna will need to cover the can?

The answer would be 141 square inches
Reason is that to find the volume the formula would be pi*r^2*h.
Radius would be solved as 6/2=3 and height is 5 inches
Making the problem Pi*3^2*5
Plug that into a calculator which will give you 141 square inches
