Answer:

pi 13

Explanation:

in terms of pi, meaning you dont do 3.142 x diameter, you just write it as pi diameter.

I know i write it like this due to calculation being pi diameter for circumference.

diameter =

2 * radius

The answer is:

C = 13 π

Work/explanation:

We calculate circumference by using the following formula

C = 2πr

where

c = circumference;

π = pi;

r = radius of the circle.

Diagram:

\setlength{\unitlength}{1cm}\begin{picture}(0,0)\thicklines\qbezier(2.3,0)(2.121,2.121)(0,2.3)\qbezier(-2.3,0)(-2.121,2.121)(0,2.3)\qbezier(-2.3,0)(-2.121,-2.121)(0,-2.3)\qbezier(2.3,0)(2.121,-2.121)(-0,-2.3)\put(0,0){\line(1,0){2.3}}\put(0.5,0.3){\bf\large 6.5\ m}\end{picture}

Now plug in the data; remember to express the answer in terms of pi.

C = 2 × 6.5 × π

C = 13 π

Hence, C = 13 π.
