5x-6y=-10
5x-3y=20
- + -
5x-6y=-10
-5x+3y=-20
=-3y=-30
Y=10
Now take a equation from the two equations you wish and then put the value of y in the y variable
5x-6y=-10
5x-6*10=-10
5x-60=-10
5x=-10+60
5x=50
X=10
Answer,
X=10
