"The woods are lovely, dark and deep,

But I have promises to keep,

And miles to go before I sleep"

ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ- Robert Frost

Frost metaphorically meant to depict the melancholy of his conscience when he found out there are many deep and dark yet lovely woods(paths) to follow yet he has to keep walking on the one he made himself promise of,the one he is committed to complete and reach before he finally go to sleep(referring to his demise).
