Context

This session, you will compose a final essay using each stage of the writing process.
This project will help you understand the benefits of using the writing process. It will
also help you apply the skills we will learn in class.
For each step of the process, you will complete and submit a micro assignment. Your
instructor will give you feedback on each assignment. It is your responsibility to apply
the feedback your instructor gives you on each micro assignment to your final draft.
Your final draft will be graded using the rubric at the end of this document.
Important note: Every micro assignment and the final essay should be submitted as
Microsoft Word documents. Your instructor cannot provide line by line feedback on
submissions you type into Blackboard. Since it is very important that you receive
detailed feedback from your instructor and apply it to your final draft, you must submit
each piece as a separate Word document.

Answer:

Are you a geometry teacher? Because from this angle, you look acute.

Step-by-step explanation:

It is November of 1920. Across the country, people are voting in the first presidential election since the passage of the 19th Amendment. Two sisters named Hettie and Elizabeth are excited to become the first women in their family to vote. However, when they arrive at the polling place, they discover that they have to pay a tax to vote. Another woman in the line, who is African American like the sisters, also has to pay a tax. However, the White women waiting to vote do not have to pay. Unable to afford the tax, Hettie and Elizabeth are prevented from voting.

What does the scenario show about the amendment that gave women the vote?

A) The amendment was less effective than the 15th Amendment.

B) The amendment only granted the right to vote to wealthy women.

C) The amendment did not guarantee the right to vote for all women.

D) The amendment was meant to discriminate against women of color.
