Some plants, such as sunflowers, have a flower part that moves to face the sun. What is the most likely reason for this adaptation?

It allows the leaves and the flower to grow symmetrically.
It allows the plant to absorb as much sunlight as possible.
It allows the plant to protect itself from animals.
It allows the plant to speed up the process of photosynthesis.

The sunflower is intolerant to shade exposure and needs full sun exposure. It has adapted to this necessity by having a heliotropic head which rotates to follow the sun, hence the name sunflower.
