The answer is c) 1:2

The equation for the area of a triangle is 1/2(bh). In this case, our base is 24, and our height is 12. If we put this into our equation, we get 144.

To find the area of a rectangle, we multiple the length and the width (24 x 12) = 288.

To find the ratio, it would be 144/288, which reduces into 1:2.
