Answer:

You should report a crime as soon as possible after it occurs. You can report a crime in several ways:

  1. Call 911 or your local emergency number: If you are in immediate danger or have witnessed a crime in progress, call 911.
  2. Contact the police: You can also call your local police department or visit a police station to report a crime.
  3. File an online report: Many police departments have online reporting systems that allow you to file a report from your computer or phone.
  4. Contact a crime victim assistance center: If you are a victim of a crime, you can contact a local crime victim assistance center for support and assistance in reporting the crime.

Regardless of how you choose to report a crime, it is important to provide as much information as possible about the crime, including the location, time, and any suspects or witnesses. So, you should report a crime as soon as possible after it occurs.

Answer and Explanation:

If you see a crime being committed, the first action you must do is take safety, if you are in a situation that is dangerous. Once your position is safe, call 911, which will bring you to an operator to then get the police to the situation. You must be specific in details when describing the crime taken place, such as what the person/group are doing, wearing, and where they were last seen.

If the crime was done and in the past, then you can still call 911 and tell them details of the incident, in which they will build a case and find evidence as necessary.

Have a good day!
