First, you have to balance the equation :

C5 H12 + 8 O2 ====> 5 CO2 + 6 H2 O

so

O2 : H2 O is 8/6 (assumong there is enough...or excess of C5 H 12)

5.5 / X = 8/6

X = 5.5 * 6/8 = 4 1/8 MOLES H2O
