Atop having antipyretic and nonopioid analgesic properties, ibuprofen (option B) can also operate as an antirheumatic medication because of their pharmacological class as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). This medication reduces the inflammation that causes the pain and stiffness associated with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) as well as some mild to moderate pain relief.

Digoxin is an antiarrhythmic medication indicated for heart failure, atrial tachycardia, atrial fibrillation, and atrial flutter. Morphine is an opioid analgesic indicated for severe pains, pain associated with MI, and pulmonary edema. Lastly, penicillin is a bactericidal antibiotic medication indicated for infections from certain bacteria (e.g. Streptococcal pneumoniae).
