Answer:

Explanation:

Since x means the number of years, x = 5

According to PEMDAS, we take care of the exponents first

So the exponent is x, so the exponent is actually 5

So we apply that to 0.28

0.28^5 = 0.002

0.002 x 5719 = 9.84

But... that would be impossible and just plain creepy if there were 9.84 cats lol

So I rounded it to 10 cats
