Start at the first point on the graph. Then count how many times you went up till you are parallel with the second point. That will be the rise, which in this case is 4.

Then from your new point count how many times you went right, and that will be your run. In this case it is 3.

Put the rise an top, and the run on bottom, and you get the slope 4/3!
