Explanation:

the measure of inscribed angle ABC is half the measure of its intercepted arc AC

that is AC is twice the measure of ∠ ABC , so

7x - 2 = 2(2.5x + 4) = 5x + 8 ( subtract 5x from both sides )

2x - 2 = 8 ( add 2 to both sides )

2x = 10 ( divide both sides by 2 )

x = 5

Then

AC = 7x - 2 = 7(5) - 2 = 35 - 2 = 33°
