Furthermore, the rapid transmission of misleading information via social media has eroded confidence, polarized societies, and even real-world effects such as misinformation spreading during elections or public health emergencies.
Furthermore, ICT has contributed to the creation of a digital divide, resulting in inequities in access to information and opportunities. While many people in industrialized regions have access to high-speed internet and powerful digital tools, a sizable section of the global population, particularly in underdeveloped areas, still lacks basic ICT infrastructure. This digital divide further marginalizes underprivileged populations, making it difficult for them to access education, healthcare, and economic opportunities.
Additionally, ICT has altered the labor market, resulting in increased automation and job displacement.
