2(0) = 4x - 12
0 = 4x - 12
Adding 12 to both sides:
12 = 4x
Dividing both sides by 4:
3 = x
For Y:
2y = 4(0) - 12
2y = -12
Dividing both sides by 2:
y = -6
Therefore, the y-intercept of the line is y = -6.
