He knows that 430 gallons is the capacity of a tank that holds 58 ft.³ the cylinder L tank has a radius of 2 feet and Height of 4’,6” does the evidence indicate he can win the case against the contractor if it goes to court

Find the volume of a cylinder using the following equation: V = (3.14 r^2)h where r = 2, h = 4.5

Then solve

= (3.14(2^2))4.5
= (3.14(4))4.5
= (12.56)4.5
= 56.52 cubic feet

56.52 < 58 therefore this is sufficient evidence for a case against the contractor.
