Answer:

The King refused colonists permission to petition for a redress of their grievances. The First Amendment of the Bill of Rights guarantees citizens the right to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Remember your articles!!! they will come back in US history over and over!!!

articles of confederation : CREATED the United States of America! whoohoo Screw Britain!!

declaration of independence : Make us scary to them!!! We rallied the troops, won foreign allies, and ANNOUNCED the creation of our new country

The word grievances means: an official statement of a complaint over something believed to be wrong or unfair.

so, with all this being said the articles of confederation addressed/established alot of things wintin our country , if we related to the declaration of independence .it gave them the right, and the power to declare war as a country. It’s sort of made them be taken seriously. I don’t know the specifics of your question, but I feel like I answered pretty well.
