Answer:

Explanation:

let the price of ticket be x (which is 18)

then 4 friends(zavia + 3 other) so 3x ( 4 * 18 = 72)

then let no. of nachos bought be (y) (cost is 7 for each

so 4x + 7y = 93

so 72 +7y = 93

7y = 93 - 72

7y = 21

so

y = 21/7

y = 3

Answer:

First, let's calculate the total cost of the tickets. Zavia and her 3 friends make a total of 4 people. If tickets cost $18 each, then the total cost of tickets is 4 * $18 = $72.

Next, we subtract the cost of the tickets from the total amount spent to find out how much was spent on nachos. That would be $93 (total spent) - $72 (cost of tickets) = $21.

Finally, we divide the amount spent on nachos by the cost of one order of nachos to find out how many orders were bought. That would be $21 ÷ $7 = 3 orders of nachos.

So, they bought 3 orders of nachos.
