Answer:

mode is 47 because it appeared most in the frequency

median is 32

Explanation:

median =½ of the total of the frequency and the next position

½(40)th and the next position

½(20)th and 21th position

median= 32+32/2

= 64/2

= 32

The formula to find the mode of the grouped data is:

Mode = l + [(f1-f0)/(2f1-f0-f2)]×h.

Where, l = lower class limit of modal class, h = class size, f1 = frequency of modal class, f0 = frequency of class proceeding to modal class, f2 = frequency of class succeeding to modal class.
