Answer: 1. Zinc is nonferrous metal is used for the Galvanization process.

2. Refractory means a material which is resistant to the heat, pressure, or chemical attack and it forms at high temperatures. Refractory metals are Tungsten,Niobium and Molybdenum.

3. Tin-Lead alloys are used for making soldering radiator cores in automotive industry, a low-melting solders used in electronics industry and Terne metal, an alloy of lead 10% tin is used to coat steel sheet to make it corrosion-resistant product.

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Non ferrous metals means metals having non magnetic properties or No iron content in it. Zinc is a non-ferrous metal with a very low melting point and medium strength. It can be used in galvanizing. In this process, zinc is used to create a protective layer to resist the corrosion.

2. Refractories are poly crystalline, inorganic, non-metallic, porous, and heterogeneous. They are used in furnaces, kilns, incinerators, and reactors. They must be chemically and physically stable at high temperatures. Ceramics are also refractory material.

3. They are Low melting metal alloys are used as a constituent in fusible alloys which is used in fuses, thermostats, switches, barometers, thermal management products, fire suppression water sprinklers.
