Answer:

zeroes of the equations are x= 1 , -3

Explanation:

firstly divide both sides by 2 so new equation will be

x^2+2x-3=0

you can use quadratic formula or simply factor it

its factors will be

x^2 +3x - x -3=0

(x+3)(x-1)=0

are two factors

so

either

x+3=0 or x-1=0

x=-3 and x=1

so zeroes of the equations are x= 1 , -3

by the way you can also use quadratic formula which is

[-b+-(b^2 -4ac)]/2a

where a is coefficient of x^2 and b is coefficient of x

and c is constant term
