Let there be x employees in the previous year

Now, the company has 32% more employees whis is 69300

i.e.


x + (32)/(100) x = 69300\\\\ \implies(132x)/(100) = 69300 \\\\\implies 132x = 6930000\\\\\implies x = (6930000)/(132)\\

⇒ x = 52500

There were 52500 employees in the previous year
