Explanation:

Each cylinder's side area is pi *d * h = 43.98 in^2

you need six : =263.89 in^2

each ned of the cylinder area = pi r^2 = 9.621 in^2

and you have 12 ends for 115.45 in^2

For total : 379.3 in^2 (slight difference due to the value of pi used and rounding)
