Answer: something that brings disgrace. : public disgrace or ill fame that follows from conduct considered grossly wrong or vicious.

Explanation: this is from online but im gonna go in to a little more explanation for you lol, it can also mean criticism or disapproval. I'm notr sure how you need to use it in a sentence but here is one for you too:

"Despite his outsider status and the opprobrium it generates, he won't give in."
