Which of the systems of linear equations will have infinitely many solutions?

Question 16 options:

4x – 3y = -1

x – y = -2

x + y = 90

y = 9x – 10

-3x – y = 1

2x + y = -7

11x +12y = 13

22x + 24y = 26

Answer:

11x +12y = 13

22x + 24y = 26

Explanation:

Infinite many solutions means that if you did something to the equations, they would end up being the same line. A line on top of a line intersect infinitely many times that's why infinite solutions.

11x +12y = 13

22x + 24y = 26

Look at the last pair of equations. If i divided the second equation by 2(all of the terms):

(22x + 24y = 26)/(2)

=11x +12y = 13

You get the same equation as the first. So this is the system that has infinite solutions.
