I think that the American government thought of Japanese-Americans, as a threat to their stability, structure, and Americanism. The Japanese Internment Camps were established as a precedent of Americans exercising prejudice and their dominance over Japanese-Americans. I don’t think that internment were necessary, as it was a violation of basic civil liberties, as it was based on war hysteria rather than realistic evidence that proved Japanese-Americans to be a threat to the national security of America.
