Susana, [1] our next-door neighbor, wanted [2] to become an
attorney. After she earned a degree (31 from a four-year col-
lege, she took the Law School Admissions Test (4] to gain

full years of law school, Susana was then awarded a J.D.
degree. Before [6] practicing law, however, she took an
