The surface are of a pyramid is found by finding the sum of the area of the four sides and the base.

Finding the triangular face:

Area of triangle =
(1)/(2) b h =
(1)/(2)*4*6 = 12

12 * 4 (4 sides) = 48 square cm

Finding the Base =
w * l = 4 * 4 = 16

Finally, we add it together. 48 + 16 = 64
