How did the development of the spinning jenny lead to major social changes

Explanation: The Fly Shuttle and later the Spinning Jenny were machines as opposed to the hand Spinning and weaving done in people’s homes by hand looms or spinning wheels. Machines could spin and weave more cotton and much faster than the hand looms, so brought prices down and once Arkwright had started the first mill or factory and made it such a success, other people leapt on the idea and copied it. The hand looms just couldn’t match the mills any more than hand cutting grass with a scythe can compete with a lawn mower and gradually the people who,had spun and woven at home went to,work at the mills to get money to live, since no one wanted the hand woven more expensive cotton nor did they want to,wait for it.
